We have a garden spot located at 1970 Highway 14 Frontage. Our first meeting of the year will be January 18, 2009 at 2 p.m. The meeting will begin at the garden spot and move to the Wishram Community Church kitchen. Anyone interested in participating in the garden should come to this planning meeting. We have discussed setting aside a portion of the garden for children, so if you think your kids would like to be involved, please come.

I live in the heights and have a large garden of my own. I'm unable to attend the meeting today due to illness. I have a good tiller and would be willing to help with ground preparation when the time comes. Also, my wife will probably have some plants to donate this spring.
